Drawing on more than 15 years of in-country experience in Asia, Europe and Latin America, Jon Anderson specializes in the areas of new market entry and business startups, recruiting and team development, government relations and acquisition due diligence with a focus on China. As the director of Kyosay Global’s Shanghai operation, Jon recruited and built a local team to support clients in achieving their objectives in China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and other critical Asian markets.
Before joining Kyosay Global, Jon was partner-in-charge of the Shanghai office for Lake Pointe Partners, LLC. Here, he recruited and built a local team while also managing business development and project execution. With a focus on market entry, supply chain, human resources and M&A support, Jon and his team served clients across a broad range of industries including electronics, automotive, fabricated metal, medical devices, financial services, chemicals and education.
Additionally, as a managing director for a national consulting firm, Reese Partners LLC, Jon established the company’s China operation to best serve U.S.-based businesses seeking in-country partners to manage their global sourcing, market entry and human resources efforts. Jon also served as the onsite deputy general manager of BMI Metronics (Shanghai) Co. where he led planning and implementation of a China business plan, delivering a turnkey manufacturing operation.
.Jon held positions as Vice President of Human Resources for Littelfuse, Inc., and Director of Human Resources and Administration for a high-tech division of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company. He holds a B.S. in psychology from Purdue and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. Additionally, he has earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Shanghai).
